Unified education system
Unified education system
India cannot become a truly equal society when the quality and nature of a childโs education depend so heavily on the circumstances of their birth. Today, children in India can follow very different educational systems depending on whether they attend a government school, a private school, a state board school, a CBSE school, an ICSE school or another institution. The differences are not merely in curriculum. They can extend to the quality of teachers, facilities, language of instruction, exposure to technology, extracurricular opportunities and preparation for higher education. This creates a fundamental inequality of opportunity. A child should not have a substantially different chance of succeeding in life simply because of the State in which he or she was born, the economic circumstances of the parents, or the school that the family can afford. India therefore needs to seriously consider a Unified National Education Framework that establishes a common minimum standard for every child #education #CJP #CockroachJantaParty
